Subject: BS: To Much Bloddy Moaining! From: Rt Revd Sir jOhn from Hull Date: 30 Aug 04 - 03:06 AM Hello=People moan too much, [npot all pf them, just a few] ie peoples moan about BS ="too much bs here, blar nblar, blar" they made music seperate, and a BS filtre, so they don;t even have too see it, but some still moan. They moan about guests=this is maxes site, and he want to let guests here., so don;t moan about it. [somebody made a thread "Poll=waht to do about guests etc?" and not make any difference=useless thread. some say there should be more moderaters, and they should moderate more, but who pays for them? [nobody! [they [the moderaters are here for free] and somneomne said, "there should be seperate areas for guests , and it should be constantly watched, and any bad stuff [rude werds etc], deleted immediatley=load of shit! [people got better things to do with there life than wait for someone to swear on a website! and some new person [a christian sort of person] was ending his messges with "God Bless" [or similar], and people moaned! i'm not really a religus sort of person, but as far as i'm bothered, they can put that if they like, no need to hassle them for it. people moaned="BBC are shit, they dont put folk music on telly enough" they put sidmuth folk festival on tell, and they still moaned! "it wasn't on long enough" [it was on for an hour], they didnet show all the best bits, blar, blar, blar" And people moaned about Hull threads, we decided to start ony one a month, they still moan! see thread "forget hell and halifax" I decided, people just like moaning! Anyway=some people left, or saying they will leave if mudcat is not run how they want it to be run etc, but= there is 10 thousand folk songs words here, and loads of good information about music, intruments, festibals, and all kinds of stuff like that, so stop moaning. |
Subject: RE: BS: To Much Bloddy Moaining! From: John MacKenzie Date: 30 Aug 04 - 03:31 AM That'll be Sir Joh9n of 'Ull moaning about people moaning likely. Giok |

Subject: RE: BS: To Much Bloddy Moaining! From: JennyO Date: 30 Aug 04 - 08:32 AM ...like I was saying earlier, some people's posts are easier to pick than others :-) |
Subject: RE: BS: To Much Bloddy Moaining! From: Wolfgang Date: 30 Aug 04 - 08:36 AM What do you mean, posts??? In this particular case, 'threads' would have been the relevant word. Wolfgang |
Subject: RE: BS: To Much Bloddy Moaining! From: JennyO Date: 30 Aug 04 - 09:26 AM Okay Wolfgang, threads if you like, seeing as this person started the thread, but I actually did mean posts. |
Subject: RE: BS: To Much Bloddy Moaining! From: Wolfgang Date: 30 Aug 04 - 10:24 AM Yes, I know and agree. When I was in the matter and spirit thread I could guess correctly four of the last five posts and that one was just five words long. Wolfgang |
Subject: RE: BS: To Much Bloddy Moaining! From: M.Ted Date: 30 Aug 04 - 12:41 PM Is this the "one a month" and, if so, which month is it for? If it isn't, how do we tell the "one" from the apparently spontaneous gifts of others? |
Subject: RE: BS: To Much Bloddy Moaining! From: PoppaGator Date: 30 Aug 04 - 03:50 PM JennyO was right, and she meant what she said: There can be no such thing as "some people's *threads*"! A *post* is the work of an individual, but a thread is open to one and all, and consists of the contributions [sic] of many. I can't understand (and also can't stand) the particular brand of "moaining" where someone says "you can't post to my thread!" Bloddy eHll! |
Subject: BS: Is moaning shite? From: Michael Date: 30 Aug 04 - 05:12 PM Well, there seems rather a lot of it at the moment; in both halves of the page. I moved this message here from another thread on the same topic. |
Subject: RE: BS: To Much Bloddy Moaining! From: Wolfgang Date: 30 Aug 04 - 05:40 PM Threads started by John are easily recognisable even without opening them (how I wish sometimes that all threads would carry the name of the thread starter; that would often make selection quicker for me) Wolfgang |
Subject: RE: BS: To Much Bloddy Moaining! From: GUEST,milk monitor Date: 30 Aug 04 - 05:41 PM Just a quick moain about the price of kittens...£90.00 today in a normal little pet shop for a normal little kitten. No I didn't get one. To bloddy deer. |
Subject: RE: BS: To Much Bloddy Moaining! From: Bee-dubya-ell Date: 30 Aug 04 - 05:52 PM Stop moaning! If £90.00 is too much to pay for a kitten, make your stir fry with chicken instead. |
Subject: RE: BS: To Much Bloddy Moaining! From: GUEST,milk monitor Date: 30 Aug 04 - 06:06 PM Chicken doesn't have the piquancy of kitten. |
Subject: RE: BS: To Much Bloddy Moaining! From: Bill D Date: 30 Aug 04 - 06:31 PM isn't kitten sorta between 'puppy' and 'bunny'? |
Subject: RE: BS: To Much Bloddy Moaining! From: GUEST,milk monitor Date: 30 Aug 04 - 06:40 PM Alphabetically maybe. |
Subject: RE: BS: To Much Bloddy Moaining! From: M.Ted Date: 30 Aug 04 - 06:47 PM I was reacting to this, Wolfgang-- >And people moaned about Hull threads, we decided to start ony one a month Which implies a restraint by some other than himself-- |
Subject: RE: BS: To Much Bloddy Moaining! From: GUEST,.gargoyle Date: 30 Aug 04 - 07:46 PM And I will continue to moan into my grave about you MISTER j. of h. causing me to miss the boat.

Subject: RE: BS: To Much Bloddy Moaining!/Is Moaning Shite? From: Wolfgang Date: 31 Aug 04 - 06:31 AM M.Ted, I was reacting to Jenny and Poppagator. However, I realise now my post can easily be read as a rection to your post. And if it is read this way it comes out differently from what I had in mind. As for your post/point, I have nothing but smiling approval. Wolfgang |
Subject: RE: BS: To Much Bloddy Moaining!/Is Moaning Shite? From: JennyO Date: 31 Aug 04 - 12:32 PM Gawd! jOhn was right - to much bloddy moaining, particularly on this thread, and yes, moaining IS shite. |

Subject: RE: BS: To Much Bloddy Moaining!/Is Moaning Shite? From: SINSULL Date: 06 Sep 04 - 05:49 PM The "borned citizen" rule is being re-thought (or not) so that Shwartzenegger(sp?) will qualify in 2008. With the Incredible Hulk as his running mate, he can't lose. So let's get jOhn naturalized and ready to go as the Democratic candidate IF Kerry doesn't re-run in '08. Kendall, Make nice! |
Subject: RE: BS: To Much Bloddy Moaining!/Is Moaning Shite? From: GUEST,GROK Date: 06 Sep 04 - 08:56 PM Of course Kerry will run again in 2008. Incumbents almost ALWAYS run for a second term. |
