Subject: BS: I'm off too
From: John MacKenzie

Off touring for two weeks starting today, I've got my passport, and I'm heading down to Englandcestershire. We shall be in the London area from Friday, so if anything is happening let me know. I've opend an account for wireless internet, and I've got the card for the laptop. All I need to do now, is find out how to set it up, and make it work. If I manage to do so, I will post any adventures on line, if I don't, I'll see you when I get back.

TTFN

Giok

...jumping on the bandwagon... I'm off to Greece for a fortnight from tomorrow (Patmos via Samos). If neither of my fan club has died of boredom and there are any amusing or musical events to report, I may post one of my notorious "Postcards" on return.
tara a bit.

Giok - call in on Manitas and I if you want to - I'm sure Manitas can get you to a session on Sunday and we can put you up if you need a bed.

PM for a phone number.

Giok - if you happen to be in the Uxbridge area of West London on Tuesday 7th Sept you would be most welcome at Uxbridge Folk Club at the Crown & Treaty, Oxford Road, Uxbridge from about 8.30. This invitation applies to any other itinerant folkies who happen to be in the area.

Pete

Don't visit the north of England - We still haven't forgot what Wallace did...;-)

Seriously, though, If in the Manchester Area be sure to look up Swinton Folk Club.

Cheers

GLOK
If the M6 and Stoke=-on-Trent are on your itinerary, get in touch. Might be a session, depending when. Plenty of interesting pubs, and oatcakes(not the same as Scottish oatcakes). I have forgiven Wallace, though not Robert the Bruce who harried West Cumberland and Furness, the bastard.
Have PMed you a phone number.

Giok, you're more than welcome to stay with Parker and I in the Walthamstow bit of london (not far from Manitas and that) with the possibility of proper tattie scones thrown in.

Have fun

TTFN Lady P.

Hey Giok, London's not England - it's Little Japan/Middle-East/Australia/Any-Other-Country-You-Care-To-Name! You won't find many English people there!(LOL).

Georgiansilver's got the right idea - come to Lovely Lincolnshire and have The Yellowbelly Experience. Gainsborough Folk Club at the 'Drovers' Call', 8.30 pm Friday night?

Have a good holiday.
