Subject: RE: El Greko Staines F C Mon 6th sept From: breezy Date: 07 Sep 04 - 04:54 AM Having not seen or heard the Grek for over 6 weeks I was very impressed by his performance last night. A balanced selection of songs that contained pace and pathos, sincerity and humour. He is a bit good on the old guitar too which one can easily overlook. The club was very friendly with a good selection of floor singers and some fine harmonies from the audience. Make a note now of George Papavgeris's official CD launch on 29th October in St Albans,Herts at the Duke of Marlborough, the club re-opens Fri 24th Sept |
