It should be going off to be pressed next week so we are hopeful of getting the thing to you and other bloke who wanted one in about four weeks. I hope that's OK. I will of course, be making a bit of a fuss about the hour and a bit of Caran noises in the weeks leading up to the arrival of "Long Forgotten". Whuich is what it's called. So there. |

Subject: RE: The new Cara CD. When and where? From: Georgiansilver Date: 17 Sep 04 - 05:54 AM Patience is not my greatest virtue Les. As you know I am a Christian...so I prayed for patience.....I said "Lord, Please grant me patience and I want it NOW"!!!!. Best wishes. |
Subject: RE: The new Cara CD. When and where? From: Oaklet Date: 17 Sep 04 - 06:51 AM One nice men in Enniskillen is currently shoehorning an hour and six minutes of re-mastered niceness onto CD. Another is trying to figure out exactly what we were smoking when we did the design and "profoundly meaningless" sleeve notes (including a dedication to a certain impatient Christian quality tea service). All being well, we should receive proofs next week or the week after. It has a barcode on it as well. Deanmeister will, for the second year running, be disbarred from receiving his own personal copy of "Long Forgottten". |

From: Paco Rabanne Date: 19 Oct 04 - 12:23 PM Yo george, I got one of the young puppies in my office to do a "routemaster" for me to Market Rasen, and was surprised to see that it is only 30 odd miles from Hull. I will have a chat with Hull smoking club over the next few days and see if anyone is up for a visit to the sarf bank. Flamenco, the true path! |
Subject: RE: The new Cara CD. When and where? From: Rasener Date: 19 Oct 04 - 01:08 PM You are all very welcome, but do I have to get CARA to have a 10 minute break between each number so that you can all nip out for a fag (meaning of course a cigarette) :-) |
Subject: RE: The new Cara CD. When and where? From: Georgiansilver Date: 19 Oct 04 - 03:27 PM Ted..it is actually less miles than that as it is in Walesby Village Hall which for you is a few miles before Market Rasen. Best wishes, Mike. |
Subject: RE: The new Cara CD. When and where? From: Paco Rabanne Date: 20 Oct 04 - 03:37 AM Villan, I am afraid we must insist that Cara take up smoking before our visit. We want to see pipes full of rough shag hanging out of there mouths as they play. A small price for them to pay I am sure you agree. Flamenco the true path! |
