I don't know for sure, in fact nothing at all may be the matter and it may be all in my imagination. I've just got this nutty idea that he could do with some cheering up. I'd send him a PM, but I'd have to reset my cookie, and my computer doesn't like cookies anymore since I raised my security setting, and I've gotten used to being Guest, SueB instead of just SueB...

Yeh, Amos, I noticed it too. After being away a couple of months, I log into the cat and start reading. You sound like a different person. What used to be intellectual discussion on your side has now turned to sarcasm and bitterness. Are you taking lessons from Martin?

I didn't jump on the "Winnie ther Pooh" discussion because I read it as dialect, not as the actual name. So it was a non-issue for me. And Ketchup/Catsup episode--that's a good avenue to explore. How could he get too bent out of shape over that?

Now all of these "if Kerry loses" threads--those are depressing. It means guests are living in hopes that if they say these things often enough dedicated Mudcatters might actually believe them and not go vote. But we know that won't happen!
