Well, well, well...

Looks as if the Bush attacks on John Kerry are indeed getting out of control. Kerry aiding and abedding the enemy? Kerry giving comfort to the enemy? Been a while since America has seen these kinds of tactics being used against political opponents. Maybe Bush has some other polls he's privy to that show him loosing ground. Seems like a very desperate move on his part and bound to lead to Kerry nailing him in the 1s6t debate with a famous quote from Joesph Welch about 50 years ago that brought an end to the last round of this crap:

"...at long last, have you left no sense of decency?" (Joseph Welsh, Council for the Army, Senate hearing, 1954).

Bush never had a sense of decency--he's a lying, cross-dependent sociopath--he beat up his father, deserted his country during the Vietnam war, and then high-tailed at for parts unknown when it was attacked on 9/11--what do you expect from a man like that?

On Sydney television the night before last there was a show in which they claimed that Bush was involved in the 9/11 attacks. This was a serious argument, seemingly well researched.

Nevertheless, it all seemed like a load of nonesense to me, but if Bush is accusing Kerry of being involved, maybe he is trying to defuse any suggestion that he himself was in on it.

It's a pretty wild idea that either of them may have had foreknowledge of it. Adds a new dimension of horror to it all.

Bush will very likely win this election. He has the backing of almost all the major news media giants. They have refused to allow the REAL story of Dubya and his handlers to come out. Our news coverage is still debating the Viet Nam war rather than questioning why the number of Americans in poverty has risen; why aren't they asking the administration about spending so much money to build Iraq's infrastructure when our own is falling down around our ears; and shouldn't they be giving the potential voters in this country the facts regarding lost jobs, lower wages, and fewer government safety nets. We have millions of folks here that still go to bed hungry at night. Appalling!!!
