Landlord and Landlady Chris And Helen are leaving The Oddfellows,Beverley, there is a BIG session there on Sunday the 3rd of October.
It Starts about 6pm and runs till closing time.
Open Style Session [all styles welcome from Trad Folk to modern stuff], people going up to now include Cowfish, Cracktown, The Flatmates, Harri Watts Band, El Ted, etc etc etc.
Chris and Helen have supported live music in the 3 years theyve been at this pub, and it will be a good session, so make sure you go if your not doing nowt.

Oh bugger! I will be celebrating 100 years of the Crab & Winkle line deep in the Essex marshes that night, and I'm really sorry to miss it. In a life all set about with wonderful sessions, I spent one of my finest hours in Oddies, pretending to play the violin whilst Oak and NikNak did all the actual work.

Good luck to Helen & Chris, whatever they sail in. Have a cracker!

Yes it happened Ted we drank them dry, we had the last 2 pints, we were scraping the bottom of the barrel to coin a phrase. Not very pleasant but someone had to do it (honest).
