I just got a PM from this newbie, who started a thread a week or so ago asking for help with "Folk Guitar Accompaniment." He just responded to the encouragement of several of us by joining Mudcat.

If I'm not mistaken, we've known him as "GUEST,Bill" until now, but from this point on his name shall be Folkie101.

He's probably correct in acknowledging he's at "101" level now, but if he hangs around here long enough, he may have to change his handle to "Advanced Topics in Folk Music," or some such...

And I was hoping that 101 was his age, in which case I wouldn't be the oldest folkie here. Welcome to Mudcat, Folkie 101...very glad you were pleased with response to your first posts.
