I heard on Sky News this afternoon, a reporter obviously doing a 'Freudian' on it, when he referred to the base that the Black Watch regiment of the British Army is now stationed, as Camp Dogfood!
The slip was momentary, mind you, but he let slip a plethora of mixed feelings, felt by a growing number of British people these days....
The proper name is Camp Dogwood..

What the hell are we getting ourselves into!

The American public seem to be putting up with their heavy casualty rate.
How will we Brits figure out in the reckoning, when more and more of our bodies start coming home?
It has started already

I personally think that we have now got another Northern Ireland on our hands.... to the power of about a hundred and sixty five.

I don't like the prospect of that one little bit.

Thank you George W. for giving our men and women something else to die for, and to dearest Anthony...., whose stoicism would have impressed me, were it not so pathetic.
