Quite a few people have asked me about the dress code for the Handfasting....well....its smart casual...if you want to dress up or wear medievil/gothic/hippy clothing then feel free!!! The most important thing is to be comfortable!....and remember you voices and instruments there will be plenty of singing and music!!

I think we have enough plates.... what with 8 in the cupboard, 16 in the sideboard, 3 of Limpits, various saucers, dishes and cat bowls... we may be a bit low on cutlery though.....!

If people want a Pre-handfasting session, pre session dinner on Friday, you're welcome at our house, which is a gentle stagger from the pub. I can do a big pot of something for everyone to share.

Right! I have been to the pub and the landlord has given the ok for a session on the Friday before the Handfasting. It will be in the usual place...back bar of the Black Lion in Plaistow say...from...8pm onwards. It will be nice to see everyone for pre-handfasting drinks!!

I hate to imagine what state I will be in after a week on the Inland

Lynne...yes you can bring the children. There is a large grassy area and beer garden for them to run around in....I hope the weather is ok. There will be other children there...Limpit and The Ducklings at the least.

I don't know whether the Lard Magnate (or Sir Skipjack) is able to make it down to London that weekend.....Hopefully we will work out a way to get a link to mudcat on the day!
