Just over 5 months to go and we are up to our eyes in preparations! We are doing the legal bit with Family only on the 7th May in Yorkshire and then the Handfasting with most of our friends on the 14th.

We do need to know ball park numbers for the caterers in the next couple of months so if you know you are definately coming and haven't already said please let me know!...can't have you all going hungry!

The Wedding Dress is being made...well I have bought the pattern and I have a couple of friends sorting it all out. Designs for the wedding rings are being drawn up. Just need to find a hairdresser and a flourist!

The Handfasting is just 3 months away so I thought I would refresh this thread to remind everyone!!

I need to approx numbers to tell the caterers asap...so if you are intending on coming please PM me or post to this thread to confirm your intended attendance!!

The preparations are all nearly complete...with the exception that my wedding dress is in the process of being made and Liz is making Limpits bridesmaids/flower girl's dress.

We are getting excited now and are looking forward to the great party it should be!!

I shall be there, no yellow van I don't think I could face the drive back so I'll have to find accomodation for the Saturday night.

The F1 Hotel and the Etap Hotel (both in Barking) are excellent value and a know a few people are staying there...If anyone needs help finding accomodation let me know and I will PM you some phone number...

Lynne...yes you can bring the children. There is a large grassy area and beer garden for them to run around in....I hope the weather is ok. There will be other children there...Limpit and The Ducklings at the least.

I don't know whether the Lard Magnate (or Sir Skipjack) is able to make it down to London that weekend.....Hopefully we will work out a way to get a link to mudcat on the day!

I hate to imagine what state I will be in after a week on the Inland
