Hello gang. I'd like to know if anyone here is a Canadian nurse, or if you have a friend who is and who would be willing to have a chat with me. I'm contemplating going to nursing school, and I'd like to have a good conversation about the profession first with a few knowledgeable people.

Try contacting the nursing faculty at any university. I use to go out with one of the Profs at UNB (but DON'T mention that if you contact anyone there - you might get "her" and, well, let's leave it at that) and I know one thing : nursing is THE hardest job in the world. It's physically and mentally demanding and hard on the heartstrings if you haven't got the attitude for it, not to mention dangerous and downright eccchhhyyy by times.
