Subject: RE: John Denver - 60's Folk Singer From: Zany Mouse Date: 08 Jan 05 - 06:24 PM Yes, he was known to sing trad as well as contemporary. I saw him loads of times on TV but not live. I was a great fan of his and I still love his music. A sad loss. Rhiannon |

Subject: John Denver - 60's Folk Singer From: GUEST,Marnie in Boston Date: 08 Jan 05 - 06:18 PM I just saw some 60's footage of John Denver singing traditional folk songs and playing guitar. He was impressive as both singer and guitarist. Where can I find any of his early folk recordings? Did any Catters see him live or on TV in his years as a 60's folk artist? |
