In todays USA Weekend magazine (that comes with some Sunday papers) there is a short blurb titled "4 Things To Know About William Shatner, aka Capt. James T. Kirk."
That MUST be your work, right Little Hawk??

I won't copy it all, but the four headings are:

1. There's no stopping him.
2. He has many passions
3. His career is going like gangbusters
4. He has few pretensions

That's gotta be Little Hawk, right???

Heh! I wish. It sure sounds like me. I could easily be an author if I didn't waste so much time on the Net...

Mind you, I have authored a couple hundred songs and some poetry and essays, and I have been a newspaper columnist too for about a year.

But, no, I did not write the Shatner article you refer to. It sounds appropriate. Shatner is indeed unstoppable, and quite amusing in his ability to laugh at himself.

It may well be that the author was Denny Crane (Crain?).   

My amazement continues to grow how Shatnere keeps re-surfacing with talent that ---compared to so many others---boggles the mind for being so much less. Wonderful piece by and actor/singer Jeff Daniels--"If William Shatner Can---I Can Too:.

William Shatner has probably one of the worst cases of tinnitus in the world. The puffy face is no doubt the result of steroids in the treatment of ear problems. His other tribulation was the death of his wife in the back yard pool. Who knows, if it hadn't been for the DA's preoccupation with Michael Jackson, Jim could have been indicted.
