Geez! I've put up MY VERY OWN copy of MacBird! for auction! A book that I have carefully preserved, carried cross country from Illinois to Ohio to Indiana to Kentucky to Idaho clutched (metaphorically) to my heaving bosom.

And right now, SINSULL has it for US $10! All the money goes the 'Cat -- I've even paying shipping!

Are there so few of us left who remember? Are the ideals of the Counterculture so dessicated that they have blown away on the winds of time?

You've got until midnight on January 15 to own this copy of a play that defined, nay, a play that dominated, the theatrical world of the 1960s.

A true classic. If I didn't have my own, treasured copy,
I'd gladly bid on this one, heavings or not. But $10 seems way too low a bid for such a fine piece of literature. (I'm assuming this is a first edition, soft cover, with the red cover)

Well, it turns out the first edition cover wasn't red after all. There are a bunch on sale on Amazon for $10 and less, and one on eBay, illustrated, for a bit more. None of these, however, offer the heavings that come with Rapaire's copy.
