A comment on another thread started this thought. Someone looked at the positives of post St. Valentines Day - half price chocolate. We have a very sacred ceremony in my family that has now been passed down to the grandchildren - the Sacred Post Easter Half Price Easter Egg Sale. We save our money for months beforehand. We go on our hunt on the Monday after Easter; Tuesday is too late. The Sacred Rite has a very narrow time frame. We buy LOTS of half-price Easter eggs and carry our Sacred loot home where with the help of friends and neighbours we have a Sacred Half Price Easter Egg Feast. We go 'ahhhhhhhh' and 'ohhhhhhh' and 'oo oo oooooooooah' and smile a lot as we eat until we can eat no more. We look at each other and smile and say 'that was good' and 'that was the best ever' and when we are able to move our piggy selves we say 'we love doing this'' and 'how great it is to hang like this' and 'looking forward to the Sacred Post Easter Half Price Easter Egg Sale next year' and hug and kiss and smell chocolatey. Chocolate is music ...............

MMMMM chocolate! It's not just music it's the full orchestra with singers, chorus and conductor.
Milk chocolate with cardemon is delicious.

They actually have easter eggs for sale the day after easter in your neck of the woods? They usually disappear off the shelves around here sometime before Palm Sunday.

Isn't Gluttony one of the seven deadly sins? There's so much variety these days why settle for only chocolate you could have toffee,caramel,fudge,treacle,popsicles,ice cream,jelly,etc.etc.etc. Those blocked arteries and impacted colons will thank you - believe me.

who needs to lose fillings with toffee, caramel, fudge and treacle? Besides, they all taste better when covered in chocolate.....

Sounds disgusting to me. Gorging yourself on half-price chocolates until you upchuck all over the floor and have to scrape it up with a spatula. Hah! I knew there had to be a way I could work a spatula into this thread!
