I'm playing The Packet Rat by C Fox Smith performed by those loverly people Pint & Dale - over & over again!

Skipy (eating egg sandwitches to add to the Guinness I drank last night, I should be fun to be with in about 3/4 hour!)

At the moment, listening to last night's Paul Jones Blues programme on the BBC website. Until I came online I was listening to the Asylum Street Spankers-Live: a CD I'd been trying to get for some time. Unavailable at Amazon US &UK but I got a new copy from an Amazon "Associate" for $11 while other associates were offering used copies for $49 and $99 !!!

The Banjo Special Arnie Naiman, Brian Taheny, Chris Coole, Chris Quinn. I love this stuff! It's fresh and new, played energetically and enthusiastically, even when the tunes and styles are old. There's something both primitive and elegant about this cd.

Also in the pile: Steve Earle, Led Zeppelin, Calasaig, Claude Bolling.

Peace, Mooh.

If it wasn't 3.30 am I'd be listening to Tim Buckley, specifically the album with Song to the Siren on it, and wishing I had Sefronia on CD instead of just on a crappy old cassette and a vinyl record that I can't play because I haven't hooked up my record player to my stereo. 'Bout time I did do it, though, eh?

Re BBC7. You have to click on 'listen now' or 'listen again' to get the programme and you need a) Realplayer or similar, b) speakers, c) speakers that work.

I am truly buggered. They are moving ISIRTA to Monday afternoons... and not even a decent lunchtime so I can listen to it undisturbed either!

NOW I'm listening to Flanders and Swann doing 'Greensleeves', mixed with Alice Cooper, The Watersons, Chris Gorniak, Black Walnut and Led Zeppelin. Can't say I'm picky!!

I am listening to the even soft snores of my Love who is sleeping just across the room from where I sit. I am also listening to the cats chase each other about and one of our Lab's is snoring rather loudly at my feet.

It sounds like home to me! :)
