The latest revelations concern the practice of "extraordinary rendition". Using unmarked planes, the CIA is delivering prisoners to regimes which practise torture and then making use of the information produced. "There is increasing evidence that America is shipping people round the world to be tortured," Mr Murray says. "I saw it in Uzbekistan because I happened to be there, but it's also happening in countries like Egypt and Saudi Arabia."

I think it's outrageous and very short-sighted that a large Country like the USA is exporting highly skilled jobs to foreign countries! How are kid of today going to take over from his old man if all the torturing jobs have been exported?

And will the Foriegn Office ( F.O. for short ) be giving their ambassador any support? Once he's back in London, facing disciplinary charges for telling the truth, and not annoying a particually nasty ally of convenience, probably yes...

Just a thought but I have wondered how GWB would hold up under torture and what would constitute torture to this "man of steel".

I haven't quite captured the ideal torture but I believe if he were forced to go without shaving for a week and then experts used an old bic razor without water or soap the torture would be sufficient to break him.

Remember, the average IQ of the states that voted for Bush was significantly lower than the states that didn't. And yes, a badly educated moron can be put at the helm of a ship that's actually being steered from elsewhere.
