Subject: Mudcat Forum - the book From: Felipa Date: 02 Dec 98 - 03:36 PM Seems to me there's plenty of material which could be edited into a book of 'best' excerpts from the forum - thread on Spancil Hill, discussions on folk music, discussions on other topics that came up inspired by song quests (RUC thread - N Irish 'troubles', travellers rights - Travelling People thread), playing with words as in "Billy the Squid". It would be readable but I don't know about marketing - through the web and folk magazines and festivals? |
