"Imagine a country relatively untouched by the influences of global culture and media, where you're hard pressed to find a Coca Cola. McDonalds in Bangladesh, yes, Starbucks in the Philippines, for sure, but you can find neither here. Armani's never even heard of it."

so if nobody likes McDonalds, who is eating in them? How can the company afford to open up so many outlets if no one eats there?????

Government subsidies, Ron. The US Government pays McDonald's to open up outlets all over the world, and then the CIA/NSA Cartel puts RFID chips in the food so that when you eat or drink something a tiny little transmitter is implanted inside you. This sends out your words and thoughts to a super-secret site called the "NRAO" in Greenbank, West Virginia, which concatenates them and sends them directly to George W. Bush and Donald Rumsfeld, who giggle over them every morning during coffee. Eventually the RFID chip will pass out of your system, but even then the plague is spread, because the chip eventually moves becomes part of the wastewater sludge, which is spread over fields which grow either food for you or food for animals -- the chip passes from the soil into the plants and then either back into someone and the cycle begins all over again. Eventually, these chips will be "seeded" from space satellites onto existing fields of crops and/or included with seeds. By the year 2009 everyone in the world will have a tiny RFID transmitter chip implanted in them, and this new generation of chips will be capable of receiving as well as transmitting. Soon you'll hear voices in your head, as I do know, telling you things like "Eat at McDonald's" and "Kerry is a weenie" and "Buy an AK-74 and take out everyone at work."

Rapaire -

You must incorporate into your theory:

London has more surveillance cameras in place, per capita, than anyplace else in the world. This, like the "technology" in James Bond movies, is to distract people from their more sophisticated surveillance capabilities. Little is known about their most advanced techniques, but it is understood that chips that fail to meet spec are sold in large quantities to the CIA. It's entirely possible that the CIA eventually will realize that Bush's concept of the world political situation comes largely from "chip failures" in British surplus devices.

I understand that in the UK instead of calling them "fries" you call them "chips".   Very interesting connectionto this consipiracy theory.

I still say that McDonalds make great fries.

I went into a McDonalds in the UK, and they were called fries there. Someone told me that little skinny things like McDonalds makes are fries, and only big fat ones are called chips. I would have to say I prefer chips.

That's because the UK hasn't yet achieved the same level of microminiturization that the US has.

Chips, fries, pappas fritas..home fries, hash browns, but i don't think i have ever had the skins though i have heard that they serve them in some places...maybe bars...but i always figure some luckier person got the insides, and lthat is just what is left after the good part is gone.

You fellers are making me hungry for pratties! OK, so what country has not been stomped--OOPS I mean: 'stamped' by the USA gov't? I don't know the answer, but I do know that alot of Nations were "stamped." For example, the nations of my ancestors, the Choctaw Nation & Cherokee Nation. It wasn't really the people of the USA, it was the gov't. doing the "stamping."   There is a difference.

OK, I've got a trivia question for you!!
Q: From what Nation in America was the first foreign aid sent to another country on another continent?
A: The Choctaw Nation. A young Choctaw brave in the Oklahoma Territory heard about the people starving & dying due to a famine in a place called Ireland. The Choctaw people knew alot about starving & death, having lost most of their own people on the "Trail of Tears" and after been "settled" in the Oklahoma Territory. The Choctaw The boy collected $710 which was sent on to Ireland in 1847. In 1995, the President of Ireland traveled to Oklahoma & formally thanked the Choctaw Nation.

As easy as it is to blame a government or a country, vut the real culprits are ignorance and greed. It is hard to come up with a society or culture that hasn't been shaped by either of the two.
