Subject: RE: BS: Is rubbish desirable? From: GUEST,.gargoyle Date: 03 Mar 05 - 12:38 AM If you can stuff rubbish under your clothes to stay warm - it is desireable.
If you can fee rubbish to your pig, cat, dog, or hamster - it is desireable.
If you can weave it into mudcat thread - it is a little less desireable.
If you leave it on MY lawn - it is undesirable -
As a general rule all rubish deposted to the account of HULL is desirable - it is more than they have - and with the vocationtional programs they may approach sild purses from the sow's ears.
Sincerely, |
Subject: RE: BS: Is rubbish desirable? From: Davetnova Date: 03 Mar 05 - 03:38 AM Rubbish prevents my home filling with things that are not rubbish. Luckily for me some thing or other is always turning into rubbish and I can then dispose of it and make more room for pre-rubbish items. |

Subject: RE: BS: Is rubbish desirable? From: JennyO Date: 05 Mar 05 - 06:10 AM Sydney has some great rubbish places - The Bower and Reverse Garbage are right next door to each other in Marrickville, very close to where we live. Marvellous places - we shop there all the time! Seriously, John gets a lot of his material for train modelling from these places, especially Reverse Garbage. I've found quite a few treasures picking over the council cleanups too. The office chair I am currently sitting on was found on one of those. The gas lift doesn't work, but it just happens to be my height, very comfortable, and has arms. If a chair isn't exactly right for me, I can get back pain, but with this one, I can mudcat for hours without any ill effect. I couldn't have picked a better one anywhere else! Rubbish is very desirable! |
