The Wolfowitz nomination to be the next head of the World Bank.

Neocon agenda on track, IMO.

Oh, the other shoe is droppin'... Paul Wolfowitz is an *Imperialsit Pig*...

Did you say he was going to head the Worl Bank?

Great hire... fir them.... Given their history as international loan sharks, thugs and agents of the Bush administration...

Google

Wolfowitz, world bank, nomination

This worries me greatly because I perceive it to be the 'beginning' of a Neocon plan to dominate the world. I hope I am just a paranoid idiot whose read too much and interpreted it all wrong. In fact, I hope I am as crazy as a shithouse rat, but frankly, I don't think I am.

I guess it would all depend on your political viewpoint.

That which would nauseate one would be cheered by another. For instance, I'm quite sure that Hillary Rodham Clinton has her fans who want her to run for president in 2008.

I'm looking for a bumper sticker thar says: ""08, Run Hillary Run".

I intend to put it on the front bumper of my old '73 Duster.

troll, I beg to differ. One's political viewpoint has little to do with it. One's position of privilege in this world has EVERYthing to do with it, IMO.

The Smothers Bros. were on tv, tonight, accepting some tv viewer's award. If you remember their show was cancelled because of their outspokenness about politics.

As they gave their acceptance speech, tonight, Tommy made up a story about the "older brother." He carried on for a few minutes until Dick asked him why he kept lying about something that was not true. He castigated him, saying they'd never had a big brother and repeated the question, "Why do you lie about something that is not true." Tommy got that blank look on his face, smirched his lips a bit, then blurted out something about it being "administrative policy." It was an excellent line and the look in his eyes as he said it left no doubt what admin. he was talking about.

I could not believe the news, today.

Every time you think he couldn't possibly do anything worse, he does. It's pretty damned scary, to think of just how pissed off Dubya is going to make the rest of the world. That vulture is going to eventually come back home to roost.

Well, no, Troll. I think, based upon his record elsewhere (and I've looked it up), that Wolfy, while not an idiot, is a puppet.

He also has to be elected by the rest of the World Bank members....

my mother would eat almost anything except stewed Okra!

I have heard it said for years that it is dangerous to allow political power to fall into the hands of those who actually seek it---yet we have a system that encourages just that. Those who should NOT have power are usually ones who work hardest and lie the best to get it...and often succeed. I'm not sure how to find a way around this problem.

There are 47 chapters to this theory....

The Sociopath Next Door: The Ruthless Versus the Rest of Us. This psychologist was on the Diane Reim show a couple of weeks ago. At one point someone wrote in an email that "without naming names, there are individuals in Washington, D.C. who exhibit the exact characteristics you describe in your book." Bingo.

Troll, you know me not. I am NOT a liberal or a Liberal. That is a cheap method of dismissing someone. I am a human with views that differ from yours, obviously, but calling me this or that will not MAKE me this or that. Back to you.

Well, well, well...

Looks like Wolfie is right where he wants to be... Head Loan Shark...

The World Band and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) are the planet's equivalent to the Mafia... They hire "economic hit men" who pray on countries much the way the Mafia prays on samll businesses... Yeah. given Wolfie's history of wanting to stael tother folks stuff, this is a job custom made for Wolf the Crook...

Oh yeah, I forgot. Wolfowitz is an idealist who wants everyone to be free and have a democratic government, right? No, very wrong. When he and his now-criminal buddy, Richard Pearle went to Clinton with theis scheme to attack Iraq, they didn't happen to mention that "democracy" was on any interest to them...

But now, one lie after another, Wolf the Crook is down to saying he wants freedom and democracy??? Like whats that all about. He and Perale weren't interested it back in '92 and I don't remember Wolf the Crook standing up in 2000 asking Bush's daddy's Supreme Court to allow for the recount to continue in Florida so I reackon he wasn't interested in democracy in 2000...

But now that Wolf the Crook is the head of what amounts to the largest loan shark mob on the planet, he's all worked up about democracy and freedom???

Like what am I missing here...

Bobert, you are missing your life, that's what. It's being spent whining and bitching about a society where you will never fit in.

Wolfowitz is perfect for this job.

Nice comments, Troll. I salute you.

No, actually I have a great life, MG, in spite of having to live it in a society amd political system that is slowly but surely closing down freedom all around us...

But I'll fight as long as I have breath...

Too bad that guys like you are so brainwashed that you can't see that what you so gleefully appluad what is being taken from us is also being taken from you as well... Sad, but true... But by the time you figure it out, it will be too late...

OK, all the Pols should have to live on minimum wage with NO help from the Family Trust. Just minimum wage with NO health insurance, NO corporate donations for campaigns, just private ones, limited to 1,000 per address. THEN what do you think would happen? NO allowances for living in DC, NO allowances for anything, just like the poor people. Straight across the board 10% income tax for everybody...

Oh yea, like it will ever really happen in the US.Let them eat cake.

Oh I have a brain Dog Genes. A brain that obviously is not paranoid about America crashing and burning like your pal bobert who is also suffering from a liberal anti-American mental disorder.

A brain that frustrates you because it helps you see the truth on how laughable you are that everything is just so bad for you because you are so paranoid.

Brucie, methinks you do protest too much. There were several other people on the thread at the time of my post. If it doesn't apply to you, why take umbrage?

Had I mentioned you by name, you might have a reason to bitch.

But I didn't mention any names: I just said "all you libs". Since you claim to be neither "l" or "L" the post obviously meant someone else.

I have no desire to make you "this or that". You seem to be doing a pretty good job on your own.

We had an Aussie Pollie who made a big grandstand about living on the Newstart (unemployment benefit - the lowest of the lot!) amount for a week or two. He reckoned he went fine - but he didn't save any money for things like insurance, including private health insurance, and he still got hos lunch in the parliamentary café, etc... :-)
