Subject: BS: World Skating Championships From: gnu Date: 19 Mar 05 - 04:37 PM Now, I am a redneck from Kent County, New Brunswick, Canada. I likes me hockey. BUT, the show that them two Yanks put on to win the silver in the Free Dance was amazing!!!! Agosto & Beldin ??? I pro'bly got the names wrong, but, wow. Now, they weren't as good as the Ruskies, but I thought their performance was much more enjoyable. And that little blond filly ain't hard to look at neither! Ahem, I'd rather Hockey Night in Canada was on tonight, with a few good scraps and Coaches Corner, but, damn, them figure skaters can skate! |

Subject: RE: BS: World Skating Championships From: gnu Date: 20 Mar 05 - 06:22 AM I thought you were roughnecks that could pull the dragons from the ground? Love that tune. What's their name again? Cobb Lind Band?... "you'd better hire him on, cause he's the roughest neck around." Anyway, good ol' boy, redneck, roughneck, bogger, hollywood boy... all the same to me. As far as Faux redneck, would you be alluding to the rednecks of southeastern New Brunswick of Acadian descent? These are known locally as "Cookers" as in Memramcook, the next large river to the east of the Peticodiac River. It actually flows into the Petty, which is the western edge of present Acadie. |
