Subject: Summer Festivals From: KT Date: 03 Apr 05 - 08:29 PM Okay, gang, I'm looking at the summer schedule and thinking about festivals.....I'd like to try to get to a couple this year and with the price of airline tickets, have to choose and plan wisely. I've been dreaming about getting to Old Songs for a few years now....and Clifftop's a possibility...Am thinking seriously about Folk Life.... SO...where y'all going this summer? And when? KT |

Subject: RE: Summer Festivals From: GUEST,Bud Date: 04 Apr 05 - 04:32 AM I'm heading over the pond to the Cambridge, Eastleigh and Broadstairs Festivals in late July / early August. I'm also gonna pop into Sidmouth for a few hours to see why it inspires such hostility and infighting on mudcat. Bud |

Subject: RE: Summer Festivals From: KT Date: 05 Apr 05 - 02:00 AM Thanks for the tip, Beer. I'll have a look at that site. Ron, I don't know yet what my travel plans will be. That's what I mean...I'm in the planning stages right now, and at this point, I'm quite flexible and open to planning a trip around festivals. I may make a trip to NY and if so, Old Songs is a very real possibility this year. It would be great to meet some fellow Catters at the same time. KT |
