Subject: Looking for info on some songs my grandmother From: S. Truesdale Date: 08 Dec 98 - 01:24 PM I am trying find some info on several songs my Grandmother used to sing to us a children (1950's). Here are lyrics I remember: 1. Pretty pretty pansies, oh how bright they used to be, as bright as the golden promises my true love gave to me... 2. Hello central give me heaven for my mommy's there. You will find her with the angels on the golden stairs... 3. ...for he did go down into he meadow for to mow, Tommy to rye rue Tommy to rye rue rye aye. I would appreciate any help In finding these songs. |
