Subject: RE: Rob Roy From: Susan-Marie Date: 19 Feb 97 - 08:56 AM It's Ailein Dunn. Check out the Capercaillie homepage at http://www.co.uk/capercailie It's not in the gaelic song archive but the keeper of that site is supposedly working on adding a lot of new submissions so you might want to check it periodically: http://www.webcom.com/liam/gaelsong |
Subject: RE: Rob Roy From: catfeet c/o incubus@ici.net Date: 18 Feb 97 - 10:44 PM It's either Ailein Duinn or Theid mi Dhachaigh(I'll go home). Both are sung by Karen Matheson of Capercaillie. Sorry I don't have the lyrics to either song to add to this message, but the album insert is heavy on the photo side of things. Hope this is helpful. Catfeet |
Subject: Rob Roy From: belter Date: 18 Feb 97 - 12:34 PM During the chase seen in Rob Roy wile the partys going on, a lady is singing a beutiful galic song. I have no Idea what the words are other than it must be a love song. I'd like to know at least what the name of the song is, and a translation might be nice. thanks in advance. |
