Actually if you visit Hong Kong you would be able to make up a menu containing many of the Disney characters. In Hong Kong and Guangdong province lying on the HK borders eating 'zoo' food is a norm, the menu often looks like an endangered species list.

You can play two games, the zoologist game where you guess which species you are eating and then the vetinary's game where you guess which bit of the species you are tucking into. The only thing with four legs that you wont be offered are the tables and chairs.

When I am working in the south I try and avoid zoo food.

There is a serious point made below. How can Disney allow the them to serve shark fin soup. The way it is caught is barbaric.

Disney's shark fin soup infuriates Green groups
By Richard Spencer
(Filed: 24/05/2005)

Disneyland was attacked by enviornmental groups yesterday after it began advertising that it would serve shark's fin soup, a traditional

Chinese delicacy, at its new theme park in Hong Kong.

In a clash between the host territory's traditional culture and western sensitivities, Disney was asked how it could square the love of nature promoted by films such as Finding Nemo and the wholesale annual slaughter of millions of sharks for their fins. Most of the animals are thrown back into the sea after their fins are cut off, as the meat is not popular in China.

The dish is made from the softened fibres of the fin and resembles a bland noodle soup. "We were very shocked and incredulous when they said they have put it on the menu," said Martin Baker, of Greenpeace, in Hong Kong.

You've read the book, you've seen the film, now eat the cast!

I've always been dubious of Disney's love of animals when I found out that they pushed those lemmings over the cliff......

Oh, all right. We'll pull the sharkfin soup from the menu and replace it with dolphin-fin soup. Yum, yum!
