lets see if any of the old timers remember what I'm talking about....

I can't believe I'm 40!! seems like no time since I was 32......
ah well been celebrating since Saturday night , and all day Sunday including my usual gig at the Mean Fiddler sunday evening...... it was a hoot...... if you have to work on your birthday its great to be able to do what you love with a crowd of friends there to help celebrate.......

anyway thought I'd mention if here just in case harpgirl tries to tell people its really 50!!

has turned 40???? Perhaps now I have a chance of catching this wondrous work of creation? I must immediately repair to the hill with the trusty low D and play to Orion. Shall we meet at the dolmen at Kilclooney to celebrate appropriately.

Or that's how I would've responded then. To all of you who have arrives in even the past 4 or 5 years, it may seem hard to believe but this place used to be pretty secretive about the who's and what's and then one day things started to open up and the next thing you knew alison was publishing the Mudcat Nudie Calendar. Dunno' where she got the idea........

So al, when you grow weary of the empty promise of my partner in LFPS and are ready for something meaningful, sincere, and yet a lot of fun, I'll send the fool out on a layabout job where he and his backloaded thong will be happy and not notice. I'll send Cleigh O'Possum along so the focker can know the delights of an ass-blown possum as well so he'll be completely oblivious. Completely oblivious isn't all that hard to achieve with Mick so all of that should be overkill. We can break out the rubber sheets and Wesson oil, whipped cream and elderberry jam and I can slick you up and lick you all over!!

Happy 40th Birthday, alison!

You're one of the very few Mudcatters I have met, but definitely one of the best Mudcatters here. That little harp session we had with Jacquie a few years ago at St Albans stands out in my mind as a treasured memory.    The kind of event that keeps you warm in wintry weather when you think of it.

catspaw, ee-yewww!! That conjures some pictures. Double ee-yewww!!!

And harpgirl, maybe you're mixing The Fair One up with me, or maybe you're going to tell everyone I'll be 60 on Sunday and not just 50.
