Subject: BS: Yard Sale From: Clinton Hammond Date: 07 Jul 05 - 03:18 PM I know this is small news next to London, but my down might be your up! --- Late 60's-early 70's Harmony Tenor Guitar As seen in such folk bands as The Kingston Trio and in movies like A Mighty Wind, a tenor guitar is a 4 stringed instrument that is a BUCKET of fun to play. Sometimes tuned like a banjo, sometimes tuned like a mandolin, their versatility can be surprising. Pics here http://home.cogeco.ca/%7Echammond44/Tenor%20Pics/HarmonyTenor.html Pictured, an American Made, late 60's-early 70's (so what they call "Near Vintage") tenor guitar from the Harmony company. It's in remarkable shape for it's age. I have made one slight adjustment to it, by adding a 2nd strap peg at the heel stock. Comes with a strap, a case, and there might even be an extra set of strings in there some where. I hate to part with it, but I just don't play her as often as she deserves. It been 'appraised' at approx. 400-500 US, but I'd be happy getting 300 CND, especially if I knew that someone was gonna treat her as well as she aughta be treated. --- Boss ME-10 Guitar Multi-Effects peddle 13 different effects Store up to 128 Effect setings Change parameters in Real Time And many other features (Google for more info) Comes with manual and an old lap-top case I have that makes a fantastic carrying case $300 --- Handcrafted, Butted Stainless-Steel, Chainmaille Belt, As seen here http://home.cogeco.ca/~sword4hire/Maillebelt.jpg Buckle not exactly as pictured Overall length, 47"... as is, it may require one very simple adjustment for best fit... Can also be easily expanded or contracted (2" either way for free) Asking price $100.00 --- Handmade, 16G 1/4"ID butted Hauberk & Coif More armor. Needs a cleaning (easily done by tumbling it in a small cement mixer with some sand) I'm 6 foot, 180lbs, and it fits me with room under for padding. I recall that when padded correctly this is SCA official 'armor' http://home.cogeco.ca/~sword4hire/hauberk.html This suit would cost you upwards of 800-1000 USD anywhere else... I'll take 500 --- Shadow SH330 Sound Hole Pickup For accoustic Guitar... Needs end-pin jack, but works like a charm 80 bucks new asking 40 --- Kaman Under-The-Saddle Pick-up & Pre-Amp This came out of an old "Montanna" Guitar, So would need to be installed (Some slight drilling and cutting involved) Complete with End-Pin-Jack, Under-The-Saddle, Ribbon Pick up, and Pre-amp with Tone and Gain controls. 40 bucks? --- Shadow 2001 Quick Mount Guitar Transducer As 2nd from the top http://shadow-pickups.com/transducers.html 50 bucks ---- 6 "Wirething" Guitar Picks See Wirething.com for more info... Red/Steel Acrylic. 3 bucks US each new. 10 bucks takes 'em all --- Sony SRS - A17 Active Speakers system Pair of portable battery (or 6 DCV adaptor *not included*) powered speakers for use with Walkman/Mini-disk or MP3 player. 4 AA Batteries required. Paid 50 new. Asking 25. --- Maxell "Light Beat" headphones Behind the neck style With batteries, $20.00 --- Realistic Micro-16 Microcassette Tape Recorder 2 speed, Voice activated http://support.radioshack.com/support_audio/8279.htm With 2 tapes and Manual (I might even have a 'carry case' around here for it) 10 bucks --- AD&D Mineatures & map $100 For the Old School Fantasy RPGer out there, this collection represents the last of the minis I've held on to since my days as a Dungeon Master. Some of these date back as far as the early 80s... http://home.cogeco.ca/~chammond44/All%20Minis.JPG http://home.cogeco.ca/~chammond44/Left%20Minis%20Close.JPG Some Dragons... some Giants... some knights... some berserkers and a bunch of stuff from 'under the table'. (Including an out-of-the-package but undamaged and unpainted "Dwarf With No Name"!) The ones that you see are painted are mostly done in water based paint, so would even clean easily if a re-paint was desired. And the pride of the collection http://home.cogeco.ca/~chammond44/Clutch%20Of%20Fear.JPG Complete, unassembled except for one part of the base. this lovely lady goes for as much as US 120 bucks at conventions IF you're lucky enough to find her. I just know I'm NEVER going to find the time to sit down and assembled her, and paint her with the love and care she deserves. The Battle map is stained with some permanent marker, but a little elbow grease might take it off eventually. I haven't tried to hard, not having had reason to uses it. http://home.cogeco.ca/~chammond44/Map.JPG I'd let the whole lot go for $100.00 bucks --- Muppet Labs Play Set No longer 'collectable', but fun to play with! 30 bucks?
