Beer and I will help folks empty the cans. Message for our addresses. We would be willing to handle that little task just because we're good guys. Trust us.

However, it would likely be easier if y'all just sent six-packs. Make it easier on the post office, ya know?

Hey, Beer, sorry. I should have asked. You willing to help with this project?

Hell, he's from Quebec. He'll say yes.

so...does he BUY cans he needs also? I have 30-40 pretty unusual cans from maybe 20-25 years ago. (I don't need to trade)

I also have 700+ bottles, but not everyone collects those....I do need the space, and I think I'll take pics and dispose of most of them, hopefully, in some way besides recycling bins.

I use to collect full bottles from Germany and other far away places. Then one night I'm kind of dry and even the bootlegger is closed. So I start to open the beer I had collected. Well the first one was skunk. But I just had to drink it. You don't throw away a beer that someone brought you from across the sea. The second one was much the same but the third and forth started tasting better. Next morning I emptied the rest of my treasures.
Well Bruce, I still like the suds but as I'm getting older I can't much handle much more than I'm allowed????

Well I guess that as a former Quebecer I'll have to volunteer to dispose of the overflow.

He could walk round the streets of Halifax [ UK ] and pick up bloody thousands of them on any morning, in fact the council would really appreciate it.

eric, if they're full, I'll meet the lots of you there.

And bobad, of COURSE this thread got hijacked by Canucks. The Brits think they inVENTed beer; the Yanks think they know what it IS, and Canadians understand it. Simple, really.

You Canucks may have invented bottled or canned beer but it's all shite compared to the real thing.

We know perfectly well that the first real beers were introduced to Britian in the 14th or 15th Centuries, from Belguim. Prior to that, we had brewed beer without hops, which doesn't count.

Anone who thinks that we invented beer also thinks that the pale, fizzy, flavourless gnats urine created in great quantities by various 'brewers' is actually beer and that pale, fizzy, flavourless gnats urine called 'Bud' tastes better as it's imported. These people will be taken to a re-education camp, and serenaded by monkeys with banjos until they repent.

Real ' Bud ' comes from Belgium not that crap made in the US. The best beer in the world is brewed ten miles up the road from me, Timothy Taylors, who have been using the same yeast strain for the last hundred years.

Real "Bud" (Budvar) comes from Czechoslovakia, not Belgium....although some of best, and strangest beers in the world DO come from Belgium.

Bill D

Yes he does buy, but he is looking to exchange with people in the UK or Canada or anywhere else where people may have what he has not got and are willing to exchange. I bring cans back for him when I am over but never enough.

He has thousands and I mean thousands in his basement.

I must admit I have helped him to drain a few. he is a good friend to have. I am always around when he needs help.

all the best John
