Abdullah Azzam Brigades, al Qaida and Osama bin laden hate Christian and Jews and have proclaimed an international holy war. Of course their plans must be defeated.

My anger is directed toward the Bush administration and their allies who have not hunted down Osama and his operatives and put an end to this madness. When I think of all the resources being funelled into the war in Iraq, I am dismayed and disgusted. Invading Iraq was misquided, to say the least.

It will take international co-operation to defeat al Qaida and the arrogance of the Bush administration has done nothing but divide the power needed to root out terrorism. I am also angry that the U.S. provided the money to initially train these monsters in Afghanistan. We have lost valuable time, money and human resources in the effort to spread democracy in the Middle East and secure our access to their resources.

Abdullah Azzam has lectured widely and has many dedicated brigades in all nations. It is these organizations that must be found and destroyed. They are hate-based and target Christians and Jews (the rest of us poor saps just get caught in the cross-fire).

I hope that international co-operation between the secret police of all nations will be able to root out the terrorists among us and that it will not lead to trigger-happy murders or false imprisonment. It will take a high degree of communication and training to be able to accomplish this goal.

Unfortunately, I think we have lost valuable time by playing into the hands of al Quaida. There are far more terrorists now than before 911. Hating and fearing Muslims will not solve this problem. They have been living with the radical elements of their faith longer than we have.

I strongly believe that the people of the governments under attack are stronger than their leaders. It is my only hope.

1) Decide what needs to be done.
2) Decide what will be needed to do the job.
3) Decide who will do it.
4) Do it.

However, I hope no one suggests that the leaders of terrorist groups or factions be arrested. That would be stupid, IMO.

Look what just happened to that young man who bolted in the UK. That why we need evidence, trials, and a legal process. We don't need any Rambos.

from the song by John Dengate (to the tune of I'm a Rambler)

I'm a Rambo, I'm a Rambo,
I'm a long way from sane,
And if I don't like you then snap goes my brain
I've a personal arsenal down in the shed
Look sideways at me mate,
You'll find yourself dead...

Its a mistake to call these people muslims.

In the London bombings they killed muslims who were going about their daily business.

They are at best infidels.

I hope if any are convicted, they are denied the Koran for the rest of their miserable lives, as it hasn't done them any good.

I personally hope Blair and Bush are put on trial first though, for mass murder over actions in Iraq.

And MY anger is directed towards those Muslims who are not doing enough or even anything to turn these vermin in, since it IS these vermin who ARE the ones giving Islam the bad rap.

You'd think the REAL followers of the REAL Islam would WANT to do something about it ????

Syria. Our government (US) has sent a few people there to be tortured on our behalf. One of them was one of your fellow countrymen, JP. He was never found guilty of any crime.

Justa Picker - Many of the terrorists have been trained in Pakistan! It is considered to be the heart of Islamic terrorism. What makes you think they are doing very much at all? Terrorism thrives in Pakistan.

Seems to me that Pakistan plays lip service to the U.S. but is powerless in its own country. Now that they have anti-terrorists laws, we'll see how effective that government really is. Hopefully more effective than either the U.S. or Britain in their attempt to wipe out terrorism.

Dianavan,

If that was not your gist, I apologise.

If that was your gist, do you feel ashamed every time you logon to the 'Cat? And will you always remember your shame every time you think of 7/7 and every time someone mentions it, for the rest of your days?

J McT

I never suggested the British government bombed London.

I did, however, question the timing of bombing by militants during the G-8. It didn't make any sense to me. Why would they do that at a time when the G-8 nations could sit down together and develop strategies for defeating terrorism?

I guess I just don't think like a terrorist.

...and there I go again trying to make sense of madness.
