Check out Fark.com for weird, funny, dumb, surprising,scary, etc. news stories you might not see in anything but local papers, etc. WITH comment forums for each story. I haven't explored it all, but today's stories, submitted by readers, included a grand mix including the following:

(I hear a song in this!)

Drunken Pigeons Wreak Havoc;

Mozilla Turns For Profit;

NASA to extend daylight using giant space mirrors!;

well, you get the picture (literally, today's links include a beautiful one of an osprey and a cute one of some penguins!)...lots of variety.
