Who, like Mumblin Len and I, were there to see this normally [in] sane side dressing as St Trinnian's girls ? Streaky Pete was a sight to behold. Best set of legs in Kent.! Blossom could have done with Trinni and Susannah's help, I feel. Richard of Bridge looked somewhat hurt about not having a costume. Thought Dilligaff was bringing a t shirt. ! It was so chilly on the jetty too , poor lad.

Le meilleur ensemble de jambes dans Kent ! La fleur pourrait avoir fait avec Trinni et l'aide de Susannah, je me sens. Richard de pont a regardé légèrement blessé au sujet de ne pas avoir un costume. La pensée Dilligaff apportait une chemise de t ! Il faisait si frais sur la jetée aussi, pauvre jeune homme.

Well, it was a bad week the week before and I had no time to organise frock hire. I had been planning to be a man from the ministry, but then I couldn't find the correct umbrella, or hire a bowler, and where would I have put the umbrella while playing?

Dilligaf was going to bring a Gundulf tee-shirt, but then she might have worn it and that would have spoiled the view.

As former Squire and Mens Foreman of this side, I feel somewhat disheartened at the way they bring disrepute on the noble art form of Morris Dance. It was never like that in MY day......

Sorry but Len has had to have a lie down after taking his medication. he began to foam at the mouth at the thought of Dilligaff without a tee shirt ! He has some suggestions on where to put umbrellas but they are not suitable for you, dear readers. We did hear an American comment- "And I thought ballet was weird." To us, it was just an everyday event. How about dressing as gangsters and molls next year?
It would give Streaky another chance to wear those fishnets.
