I find myself on the road A LOT - during the festival season.

Travel is both US and EU.

I am more than a little disallioned with:

Travelocty
Orbitz
Cheap Tickets
Map Quest,
Extravelocity

Prices vary by the minute....car rentals willy-nilly switch days....the nany available to the same identical hotel - is not available on the next service?

Summer season is nearing an end....perhaps the MC could provide a central clearing-house - even a place where the buskers can post where their next arrect will be.

Sincerely,
Gargoyle

Off for another mini-tour - no-doubt this thread will be forgotten and lost before my return.

Where their next "arrect" will be, Garg? That sounds exciting! Can we watch?

I find Travelocity very helpful, but that's because I have it set to track fares to several markets if they go below a certain level. I've set those levels almost ridiculously low and have given myself permission to drop what I'm doing and grab a great fare if it is to someplace I need to go and can go at the time the fare is available.

The last trip that came over the transom was a round trip to New York City from Dallas, TX. $143 each. I bought two and took my daughter for a week. The trick with these is that if you see the email come in you have to respond right away. Those fares go fast.

SRS

Gracious, Garg. You are full of surprises. Who are you, may I ask? Answer: Yes, I may ask.
