Well, there is an MP3 here. Does that help?

How about:

I've a fine felt hat and a strong pair of brogues,
I have rosin in me pocket for a bow.
And me fiddle strings are new and I've learned a tune or two,
so I'm well prepared to ramble and to go.

Jacqued, it seems that nic was looking for the tune in notation or abc.

Sorry nic, I've looked and that mp3 seems to be it. However, if you or someone else comes up with it, or a MIDI, Mudcat visitors would be most appreciative of the info.

Until something else crops up, I've put it on our test post at folkinfo.

It's written in C but hopefully this link will enable a MIDI, pdf for dots, etc. in any key you want.

I see that Jon Freeman has beaten me to it!

That was pretty good if you transcribed it from memory, you have a better memory than I have! I just spent one-and-a-half hour jotting it down from a recording, and trying to get it just right. That will teach me not to be a perfectionist. I guess I'll post my version anyway, just so the effort isn't wasted.
