There is going to be a session at The Black Lion Pub in Plaistow East London (UK) this Sunday (11th September) from 3pm in the back bar to celebrate Rosie (Freda Underhill's friend) and Liz the Squeak's birthday's.

Do come along and join us for a mix of music and singing. The Black Lion is a friendly pub with a real ale bar. If you need directions PM Micca or myself.

I'm in the UK but in Newark this weekend. Darn it! I would have loved to catch up with you all but am only here until the 19th and spending time mainly with the family this trip.

Hi Liz, glad it was a good day, belated HB`s and all that. Sorry I didnt make it. I was kidnapped and held in a small cottage on the North Yorks Moors this weekend, no mod cons whatsoever. No signal for the mobile, in the company of 4 of the UK`s better Northumbrian Pipers! They wouldnt let me out unless I de-tuned my fiddle by a tone, and agreed to play in various little country pubs for 3-4 hours at a stretch and drink large quantities of real ale and eat home cured bacon butties for breakfast , dinner AND tea!! It was tough.......REAL tough ;-) (Well thats my excuse and I`m sticking to it!)
