I was kidnapped and held in a small cottage on the North Yorks Moors this weekend, no mod cons whatsoever. No signal for the mobile, in the company of 4 of the UK`s better Northumbrian Pipers! They wouldnt let me out unless I de-tuned my fiddle by a tone, and agreed to play in various little country pubs for 3-4 hours at a stretch and drink large quantities of real ale and eat home cured bacon butties for breakfast , dinner AND tea!! It was tough.......REAL tough ;-) (Well thats my excuse and I`m sticking to it!) |
