Thanks, I had a great day and came away richer than when I started(not much richer - only £5.00)Got the chance to wear a posh dress and was wined and dined to excess.
We even had a magician doing some very clever illusions.
It was a great day out

Pat xx

Bugger, Pat, didn't see this thread until I got back from a corporate junket there. jOhn was my tipster, and he delivered me a card that was quite outstanding, three winners in five races.

His masterpiece was the Placepot. I bunged £20 on, and Nihal came in 4th in the first race, so the whole deal went down then. After that, every bloody one came in placed, most winning. One place out from £20,000. Double bugger! Bloody good day, though.

All hail Sir jOhn!

Avoid Barnsley... Penistone's a damn sight better than either (or even both put together!)

It's in Yorkshire, stay away if at all possible.

Someone gave me a tip for a race at Doncaster last year....after a clairvoyant had told me my lucky number for the day was '6'.....
The tip was for the 6th race and the horse was number 6.....which almost at the off was at odds of 6/1..............so I put six pounds on it and guess what.......................................................................................................................................................................................it came 6th.
