Lyr. Add: O, ABIES

O abies, O abies,
in alto regnas monte
O abies, O abies
in alto regnas monte.

Non desunt tibi folia
Hieme frigidissima
O abies, O abies
in alto regnas monte
O abies, O abies!
Natalem nuntias diem
O abies, O abies
in alto regnas monte.

Est maxima laetitia
Cum luces, arbor spiendice
O abies, O abies!
Natalem nuntias diem.

O Abies

"O Tannenbaum" also at this site: O Tannenbaum

Both with midis- in case the tune is unfamiliar- -

The Website Q links to has "Natalem nutias diem." which is more probably correct.
-Joe Offer-
But it goofed up on "nutias" and I neglected to notice that. The words should be natalem and nuntias. I fixed them in Q's text in the first message.

nuntias- announcing, declaring, which is correct.

'nutias' in the last line is wrong. Could you correct?
In the first part of the song, the website runs together nuntiasdiem, also incorrect. I caught that one, but not the other.
The Spanish website has some errors in the non-Spanish section, but their coverage of Spanish Christmas songs is worth looking at.

While I believe the translation sucks.....it DOES fit the melody of the original.

Sincerely,
