Hey, I couldn't believe my eyes when meanderin' thru Mudville there I spotted a postin' by the infamous Bush employee who has been assigned to various revoltionary websites to fight with the riff-raff...

Sniff, when the T-Bird departed shortly after his/her assignment in Mudville to quiet the voices who were predicting purdy much what has gone on in Iraq, I thought is was for-ever...

But, hark, now that Snitchgate has heated up, the T-Bird has been reassigned to Mudville and I, for one, am very happy to happy to have the T-Bird back....

We just haven't had that *quality* Bushite since T-Bird left... Yeah, we've had a few imposters who buckle under even the smallest of attacks.... But, now the T-Bird!!!!

This is the real deal, folks, and says to us all that, even fir a bunch of agin' folkies, we are still on the Bsuh radar screen.../

Its amazing isn't it. He is actually one of the very few who still believes that Bush is a fearless leader. To hear him, you'd think that Bush was one of the world's intellects and leading strategists. He also admires Cheney's business ethics and thinks we are jealous of his success.

Someone should tell Teribus that money is not the only measure of success and that Cheney is a cold-blooded swindler. He should also be told that the Patriot Act and Homeland Security combined will not protect him from the power of the people.

Teribus may be wrong on quite a few issues, but he is a worthy opponent. He will make those of us on the other side get our facts together, avoid conspiracy theories, and in general sharpen our arguments.

Martin Gibson and fact are a contradiction in terms.

Somehow, I slightly doubt that they are the same person. It is also not true that the disappearance of Teribus coincided with the appearance of Martin Gibson.

Teribus is a believer in "facts".
He loves facts because they can be twisted to prove any argument, you just have to suspend free thought.

Dont try to play Teribus at his own game, as he carries a large book of "facts", and being numerically superior he will always be able to trump any puny fact that you might use.

Teribus makes up his own "facts". Which does, as Ron has suggested, keep anyone who wants to argue with him on his or her toes. It's a lot easier and less time consuming to make up a "fact" than it is to disprove one.

Hey, did you ever hear that the inside at the foot end of a banana must be thrown away because it is 'snakebit'? That's what a friend from Moravia (Czech Republic) told me. She said that as kids they were always warned.

I reminded her that snakes are not fruit eatersa and suggested that the woody bit is simply where the banana is attached to the 'hand' of banana. She didn't buy it. And she happens to be a very bright, talented, skilled-at-oil painting-restoration individual. There is no accounting for some people's blind spots. Not mine, of course.

Yech, I must defend Teribus here. Whatever your feelings for his beliefs, methods, etc., I don't see what he's done to deserve a whole thread devoted to attacking him. The first post is thinly disguised as a "welcome back" message, but Bobert's intentions are clearly the opposite.

I've had an argument or so with Teribus myself, and while I'm not wild about some of his tactics, I've always considered him to one of the more "polite" right-wing guys here. Why is so much anger directed at him? I've seen people go ape-shit about him before, and I just don't get it. If you disagree with him, argue your position. If you can spot the flaws in his logic, nail him. But this is just cheap.

I said it before and I'll say it again: Teribus has never been rude to me. I hope I haven't to him. We have exchanged views now and then, and to some it might have seemed we were insulting each other--and we were. But there was a tacit understanding in place and we've both managed to keep it just below the eff ewe stage of things. Well, maybe we've even gone there, but we get along anyway. I agree with Lepus: ya want to attack his views, do so. You want to attack him, wait until you meet him in person.

I met terrible Teribus in person, he had me grovelling on my hands and knees, he was a real tough interrogator, every IRA man lived in dread of this man, in 1972 he had us completely wiped out.
