I see where W & G are the top grossing film in North America this week. No surprise and about time they went mainstream and are no longer able to go shopping without having mobs of people ask for their autograph and be seen with Beyonce.
yours,

Peter T.

There you are, Robbie Wilson, you sneaky fella! I left a message for you on the Secret Santa silly hints thread. But you don't call and you don't write. Now will you pleez go there and leave me some serious hints as to what you want? Becuz I need to mail your package soon, as air mail postage from the North Pole to your domicile (who the @#$%^& lives in your village???? Werewolves???) costs many a sheckel, and it's going to take the sleigh awhile to get to you!

Thank you kindly.

Your eager-to-please Secret Santa

I just saw the movie earlier this evening. It's a hoot-and-a-half!

Wallace and Gromit RULE!

I loved the parodies of movies of the past...King Kong/Fay Wray eat your hearts out! LOL

I will never look at the "May Contain Nuts" warning on labels the same way again.

Well done!

Mary

The theater we went to on Friday night was nearly empty, which surprised us, but made it easy to get those center seats. 'Course, the parking lot in general was pretty empty at that multiplex. Maybe 7:30 was early for a Friday night.

We loved it. I was ever so slightly worried that they'd have trouble translating to feature length, but the wit held. I also loved the "may contain nuts".

I heard an extended review of the movie on a local NPR station last week and am hoping to get out to see it in the theater (I usually wait for the DVD and watch it at home, but I'll splurge for this one). I'm glad to see folks like it! Nick Parks is very talented.

We went on Saturday night, also finding the cinema at about 25 percent capacity.

I howled! I hooted! And with the audience so small (and about half small children), Edmund did not feel obliged to try to nudge me into silence.

Bad news for the Wallace and Grommit company. Their Warehouse burnt down overnight with the loss of an enormous amount of archive material.

Just heard an interview on NPR with Nick Park regarding the warehouse fire. Shame. Looking forward to seeing the film. Hope there aren't too many kids there. Saw Howl's Moving Castle a few months back. Children were relatively quiet - except for the puzzled questions to their mums. The film was over their heads.

Limpit, Manitas and I went to see this this afternoon... it's better than Prozac!!

It was hysterical from start to finish and well worth seeing over for those things you missed the first time round (the 'Smug' refrigerator and the jar of middle age spread..... sublime!)... and yes, I howled like a baboon at 'may contain nuts'!

We all laughed out loud through the whole thing, Limpit understood it and even spotted some things that we hadn't. The cinema was fairly empty (Well it was a fine Sunday afternoon) but everyone there was hooting with laughter. Go and see it..... but beware the moooooooooooooooooon!

I loved it too! Almost as good as Chicken Run...of course, my feelings about CR were influenced by the presence of Jane Horrocks, the goddess of my idolatry.
