Fire up Google, insert "failure" (without quotes) in the search box.

Now click on [I'm Feeling Lucky]

ROTFLMAO - Wonder how long it will be before someone suppresses it!

This happens on Google at least since the 1st of June this year and is well know. So your supposition seems to be wrong.

Google's response to calls for suppression

If one googles simply for 'failure' (search option) the first two hits are GWBush and Michael Moore BTW.

One creates many webpages which have the words 'failure' and 'miserable failure' as often as possible and makes links to the target site (Bush's bio; Michael Moore's site).
