On Christmas Eve, rounding up the last of the shopping we passed our local music shop. In the window was a box with a cheapo guitar illustrated in garish colours with the caption 'Everything you need to start playing is in the box!'
Sheila looked at it, looked at me, raised an eyebrow and said 'Talent?'

When I was 10 I would have given my soul for any guitar, cheap, garish or whatever. I hope somebody bought it and is fighting with an F Chord as we speak.
