Subject: BS: Congtatulations Little Hawk From: GUEST,Observer Date: 18 Jan 06 - 09:16 PM I'm surprised I haven't seen this on the Cat, but I am sure that Little Hawk must be the person who just bought William Shatner's gallstone for $25,000. Am I right, Little Hawk? Can you describe it? Can you tell us the thrill it must have been to hold it in your hand and know it was a part of HIM? Other details, please... The Observer of the Cat |

Subject: RE: BS: Congtatulations Little Hawk From: mack/misophist Date: 19 Jan 06 - 09:43 AM Just to be prosaic about it, e-bay suggested a starting bid of US$ 5,000 but Shatner said no, not if one of his uniform tunics could go for US$ 100,000 so the bidding started at US$ 10,000. IIRC The Golden Pavilion Casino boughe it. The money is going to Habitat for Humanity. A nice tax write off and some good publicity for almost no effort. |

Subject: RE: BS: Congtatulations Little Hawk From: Bill Hahn//\\ Date: 19 Jan 06 - 06:19 PM Since Little Hawk is such a Shatner fan---have you heard the song by Jeff Daniels---If Wm Shatner Can----I Can Too. Great spoof song--yes, Jeff Daniels the actor who is also a singer----and his big love is a theater he owns to produce original plays. I hadf the plesure of interviewing him recently and we played the above song among others. That was on the Traditions program on WFDU. Bill Hahn |
