Subject: BS: What Makes George Bush Frail? From: wysiwyg Date: 25 Jan 06 - 08:33 PM By golly, if we could figure THAT out, we'd have somedamnthing. Keep him busy doing not too much harm, anyhow. :~) ~S~ |

It would remind us he is merely silly-- by recovering our lightness we could think more clearly and cleverly on what to DO about all the crap he's gotten us into. ~S~ |

Subject: RE: BS: What Makes George Bush Frail? From: Jerry Rasmussen Date: 25 Jan 06 - 09:16 PM I'm glad that someone finally asked this penetrating question... just when I had decided to ignore all Bush-league threads. I'm sure that we all have our theories. If you mean frail, as anemic and kinda peaked looking, I think that it's his refusal to eat broccoli. Jerry |

Subject: RE: BS: What Makes George Bush Frail? From: GUEST,Anonny Mouse Date: 25 Jan 06 - 10:46 PM Gonna say I didn't think he played banjo...because if he DID, he'd be happy-Steve Martin said "you just can't play this thing and not smile." Steve's a heluva picker too y'know? As to Dubya-I love looking at the before and after pix of a prez. They show him as to how he looked when he was elected-and then how he looks on the day he leaves office. It's truly amazing how much they all AGED-or got "frail"-or whatever. Whether ya love or hate "W"-that has to be THE worst job, and most stressful, in the world. Period. (maybe he oughtta take up the banjer!) |

Subject: RE: BS: What Makes George Bush Frail? From: wysiwyg Date: 25 Jan 06 - 11:19 PM That's why I say that if we could figure out what makes him frail (banjoistically speaking), we'd really have something. ~S~ |

Subject: RE: BS: What Makes George Bush Frail? From: Ebbie Date: 26 Jan 06 - 10:52 AM When I noticed that he was finally showing the strain I was glad. It makes me feel better that any President of the United States of America seems to be at least aware of the awesome responsibility he bears in that office. I was afraid he was going to sail through these years skimming on the surface like a scarcely ruffled duck. Strangely, when I see the strain on his face, the testiness and barely contained anger, the tension of his body language, the physical wispiness he is acquiring, it makes me less sure that he is merely a pawn. |

Subject: RE: BS: What Makes George Bush Frail? From: Richard Bridge Date: 26 Jan 06 - 11:26 AM Has anyone thought to compare the deterioration in the carriage, walk, etc of Adolf Hitler? from 1939 to say 1944? |

Subject: RE: BS: What Makes George Bush Frail? From: Alba Date: 26 Jan 06 - 11:31 AM and that is scarey Ebbie..very scarey. I would be very worried if it REALLY were his decisions that were battering this Country. Very Worried. I had put his appearance down to not having enough brains and due to this, basically, the weight of the massive problems this Country has were eating away at him because he just couldn't figure out why things were going so wrong when Snarl Rove and Wolflesswits.. (sorry to any Wolves I may have offended).. had assured him that this was the way ahead. So if your right Ebbie ma Dear... the future looks very bad indeed. 2 Years left to assure his place as the worst Leader this Country has had the misfortune to elect in history. (worryingly 2 years too long and much can happen as we now know in that short span given the record of events so far) :( |

Subject: RE: BS: What Makes George Bush Frail? From: Ebbie Date: 26 Jan 06 - 11:48 AM That's my point, Alba. When one breaks two years into hours there is time for a great many tragedies. Wonder if we will ever know just who was in charge during these Bush years? The only way I can fathom the Dumbya calling the shots is if I accept that his governing guidelines are derived directly from his religious beliefs. Talk about scary. That's an interesting question about Hitler. In fact I'd like to read a book or paper devoted to that subject. On the one hand we all age in the course of years, on the other the process seems to be accelerated during some pursuits. |
