Well, if that date is accurate, we have about 2 1/2 months to warn people in San Francisco that a bitchin' big earthquake is on its way. Should give Bush sufficient time to let FEMA know it's time to begin planning.

Dick,

Have you considered maintaining a single running thread called "Noted without comment" without the numbers? For example, I would suggest taking a look at my "I Read it in the Newspaper" thread, where new stuff is posted but I don't have to start a topic each time for a couple of posts, tops.

Just a thought.

So does my I Read it Thread--but the point is a repetitive action is happening, the impulse to post remarks with this header. Better to do it just once, and it is interesting to notice the patterns that form in such threads.
