Subject: BS: Where's Cluin? The WHO wants to know. From: Peace Date: 17 Feb 06 - 12:25 AM Cluin, a Canadian, my have the first recorded case of dibbs in human history. He posted on a thread that he got dibbs on the weekend. Many of us are very worried about him. SunnySister has started the Anti-Dibbs Coalition. The membership is growing. Fast. |
Subject: RE: BS: Where's Cluin? The WHO wants to know. From: Peace Date: 17 Feb 06 - 12:26 AM But please fear not, Cluin. The organization is anti dibbs. NOT anti you. |
Subject: RE: BS: Where's Cluin? The WHO wants to know. From: number 6 Date: 17 Feb 06 - 12:26 AM Yeah really Peace ... we MUST act fast on this. a DELAY IN THIS WILL HAVE DISASTEROUS RESULTS. |

Subject: RE: BS: Where's Cluin? The WHO wants to know. From: SunnySister Date: 17 Feb 06 - 12:38 AM Wow! I can't believe this situation has already gotten so big that even the Who know about the infestation of Cluin! Wow-weee! Hey, Cluin, once you're finished burning off those pesky dibbs, can you tell Roger D. and Pete I said I'm a big fan?? Hey wait a second!!! Someone mentioned a "Roger"??? Could it be that THE Roger also has dibbs???!!! |
Subject: RE: BS: Where's Cluin? The WHO wants to know. From: number 6 Date: 17 Feb 06 - 12:38 AM I'll ask him that first thing ... yeah, we could be onto something here. |
Subject: RE: BS: Where's Cluin? The WHO wants to know. From: SunnySister Date: 17 Feb 06 - 12:48 AM Just do me a favor, Number 6, before you start trying to burn off the dibbs from THE Roger, could you get his autograph for me... and his phone number... For scientific purposes, don't ya know. |
Subject: RE: BS: Where's Cluin? The WHO wants to know. From: number 6 Date: 17 Feb 06 - 12:49 AM Sure ... I know, I know, for scientific purposes ... correct? |
Subject: RE: BS: Where's Cluin? The WHO wants to know. From: SunnySister Date: 17 Feb 06 - 12:53 AM Yes, sir. That is correct. He must be carefully inspected, washed and cared for. I am volunteering simply as a humanitarian gesture. A person with dibbs could go downhill fast- I would only doing what any kind-hearted, music-loving, dibbs-hating, and Who-loving citizen of the world would do... am I right? |
Subject: RE: BS: Where's Cluin? The WHO wants to know. From: John O'L Date: 17 Feb 06 - 03:04 AM A course of penicillin should either remove the dibbs and leave Cluin clean or remove Cluin and leave the dibbs clean. Should be interesting. One could write a paper and get kudos... |
Subject: RE: BS: Where's Cluin? The WHO wants to know. From: JennyO Date: 17 Feb 06 - 05:41 AM Kudos - are they anything like dibbs, and should we be worried? |
Subject: RE: BS: Where's Cluin? The WHO wants to know. From: Bee-dubya-ell Date: 17 Feb 06 - 06:06 AM I once had halvsies. They're pretty closely related to dibbs, but more of a chartreuse color with pink hilights. If the cure for dibbs is anything like the cure for halvsies, I feel sorry for Cluin. I was in too fevered a state to remember many of the details, but I do remember it involved the use of a spatula, a Bermuda onion, a generous amount butter... No! Wait! That's Aunt Hilda's omelet recipe! |
Subject: RE: BS: Where's Cluin? The WHO wants to know. From: gnu Date: 17 Feb 06 - 06:40 AM Could this be a strain of snaps? I heard that snaps were reported mostly along the Atlanic Seaboard of the US last October from around Washington to as far north as Maine. Apparently, it may have been introduced by infected foreigners. sIx and I are lucky that Canadian Customs were diligent at the New Brunswick border, but there were unconfirmed reports of snaps in Uppity Canada. Perhaps Cluin is a mutation? |
Subject: RE: BS: Where's Cluin? The WHO wants to know. From: Peace Date: 17 Feb 06 - 10:24 AM "but more of a chartreuse color with pink hilights" Lots YOU know. Chartreuse IS pink. |
Subject: RE: BS: Where's Cluin? The WHO wants to know. From: Rapparee Date: 17 Feb 06 - 10:33 AM Chartreuse is pink? Oh, come now! Chartreuse is a lovely liquer made by a bunch of cloistered monks. Pink is what I do to a guy when fencing with a weapon with a point. |
Subject: RE: BS: Where's Cluin? The WHO wants to know. From: TheBigPinkLad Date: 17 Feb 06 - 10:42 AM Chartreuse is the shade I go when I'm embarrassed. |
Subject: RE: BS: Where's Cluin? The WHO wants to know. From: Bee-dubya-ell Date: 17 Feb 06 - 10:58 AM Another disease closely related to dibbs and halvsies is shorts. Shorts is primarilly an affliction of those within the "lower socioeconomic strata". Its primary symptom is the compulsion to walk up to a perfect stranger who is smoking a cigarette and say, "Shorts on that square, my man?" Translation: "When you've smoked as much of that cigarette as you want, I would dearly love being the recipient of whatever may be left so that I may not only greatly increase my chances of contracting lung cancer by inhaling smoke with highly enhanced concentrations of tars and nicotine, but so that I may also expose myself to any communicable diseases that you, yourself, may be harboring." |
Subject: RE: BS: Where's Cluin? The WHO wants to know. From: Rapparee Date: 17 Feb 06 - 11:01 AM There's also yellow chartreuse, but I prefer the green. Just call me a tradionalist. Either one is pretty good over good vanilla ice cream. |
