Well, what a pleasure to see your face around town again, my liege. But it is a very curious feature of Mudcat that when a member changes his(or her) name, all his (or her) previous posts are magically and retrospectively renamed too.
So, for the benefit of anybody who has only recently joined Mudcat, the very famous JOhn from Hull has come among us again, mysteriously disguised as a nOrman. But your secret is safe with me, JOhn. Oops, nOrman.

I would love to see a thread consisting of a conversation between Sir nOrman and Bobert. It would drive lexicographers absolutely batty!

Welcome back.

Norman
I think it would be chivalrous of you to submit your personal details. There are some who think you are a friend of El Teds or even Ted herself, others who think you a roadie for Harri Watts Band.
Do you bear a striking resemblance to Bill D?

My vote is on "rubbish." that is a treasure trove for his posts.

I once knew a man who kept a crocodile (or possibly an agligater) called Norman in a windmill - don't think he poked it with a stick though.
