Sorry, Guest 2 was me, not Guest 1 answering self.
Cracking good organisation too - think Black Swan should have an award for that (as if they hadn't won enough already!)

Hello to you all

I was hoping to be in York but missed it owing to family issues

Glad to hear the results and thanks very much to Kevern for all his help in giving out info and doing MOST of the arrangements and bookings etc.

Hope you all had a GRAND time !!!

There seems to be some grumbling about the result (of the Sallyport? AGAIN???) type!
Personally I thought they were good, but Blackadder were funnier!

Drat - sorry about that. I've heard a rumour that Sallyport have been invited to Bromyard this year so you can judge for yourselves then if you don't get to see them before September.

There is ALWAYS grumbling about the results - it's part of the tradition!
Blackadder probably were funnier, but it's not just about comedy ~(stating the obvious there)

I'm sorry but anyone who dresses up as Walter Raligh and fished a potato out of her knickers is funny!

I have a very simple sense of humour!

Is it time to introduce a level playing field at DERT? A simple rule; all dancers must consume at least one pint in each venue, and musicians twice that....

I think next year there ought to be a 'best scar from a hip replacement' contest.... that counted for at least 2 absences that I know of....

Bunnahabhain - I suspect that would lead to Sallyport winning again (especially now the Baby Kingsmen seem to have taken over that team)
