Les, Moor & Coast does not start until the Friday so you can have a nice leisurely evening stopping over in Hull and get entertained by Martin Simpson – what more could you ask for….

Seriously we can get greatly reduced rates in the hotel for any Mudcatters who want to come to the gig and stay overnight.

We will be in Whitby by Thursday lunchtime. We have hired a house for the week, starting on the Thursday. So it definately wouldn't be possible.

I wish to take this opportunity to thank John Prescott, MP and Deputy Prime Minister, for allowing me to put a poster for "music exchange" on his gate whilst the BBC ITV and SKY were camped outside his house today. A spokesman for John said he would not be available to see Martin Simpson but Pauline may be in attendance.
His secretary was unavailable for comment, she has sore knees.

Thanks to all who supported this month's 'Music Exchange'. It was a another good evening with special guest artist Martin Simpson proving what a fine musician he is. He tells funny stories as well. If anyone is considering seeing him in the near future then you won't be dissapointed. Opening our evening was the ever improving Val Marshall and our thanks go to her (and Neil on bass). Looking forward to 25th May when Quinteto Mambo Jambo will be our main entertainment for the night.
